Entry 8:Review of T1 Target-Setting Exercise

The purpose of setting our targets for our various subjects is for us to strive for excellence and to hit our targets.I think it is quite useful.If everyone work hard and strive for excellence, I am very sure that everyone will hit their targets.I will pay extra attention to my teacher when she is teaching in class and do more revision so I can hit my targets.My parents will buy more revision books for me to revise at home so I can hit my targets.I think the school and my teacher will print out more revision papers for me to do in class and at home.

Entry 7: Festivals in Singapore

The festival I celebrate is Chinese New Year.I celebrate this festival as I am a Chinese.I celebrate this festival by cleaning my house,decorate my house with New Year decorations,buy Chinese New Year goodies,I also will have reunion dinner and give my relatives red packets and exchange oranges when I go and visit them.Another festivals I know is Hari Raya Puasa .The Malays fast for one month every year from dawn to dusk.They cannot speak bad words during their festival.They pray three times a day,five in the morning,twelve in the noon and four in the evening.After eating,they start to eat.After they finish eating, they apologised to their relatives,neighbour and family members.

Entry 6: March Term Break

I think the school wants us to read a storybook everyday as they want us to learn new words and and improve our English language.I like reading in the morning as it keeps me awake.I like reading as it helps me to improve my English marks and preventing me from getting bored so easily.I like to read horror books such as and such.The school can buy new books and put it in the library or call the librarians to bring books from the Ang Mo Kio National Library and place it in the canteen for the students to borrow.I recommend you my favorite book,.The author's name is called James Lee.I like to read his book as his book is very interesting and adventurous.

Entry 5: Activities Outside School

From Monday to Sunday,my activities outside school activities are involving swimming and tuition.I spent 5 hours on my swimming and tuition.I spent 1 day on my swimming and 2 days on my tuition.I joined swimming as my parents wanted me to slim down. I had tuition as I am weak at my subjects.Both of the activities are important to me.For swimming,it helps me to slim down.As for tuition, it helps me to gain extra knowledge.Both of activities will not affect my studies as my parents has arranged the timing of my study time and activity time.I always feel stressed doing these activities as my swimming instructor wants me to swim ten over laps and as for my tuition teacher gives me many of work to do.I think I will recommend pupils to joined these outdoor activities as they are very useful to them.

Entry 4: Journey Earth Hour 2009

Earth Hour reaches out to millions of people in the whole world.It helps to change the climate in the world.Millions of people in the world played their part by switching off their lights for an hour on 28th of March 2008.About 1 million people in Singapore played their part on that day.In the next Earth Hour,will you play your part?
